Corran Addison

I started snowboarding back when snowboarding wasn’t allowed at any ski resorts. By 1993 I was Riding for Nitro, and in 1996 moved over to Oxygen. I was one of the first group of 4 snowboarders ever to be certified by the national ski patrol. In 1999 I began to manufacture snowboards under my company umbrella Riot, until leaving the company in 2002. While my main focus and success has been whitewater kayaking, from the 1992 Olympics, three world champion medals, the world record for waterfall running, and the inventor of the “modern” freestyle kayak, and I’ve competed in the World Cup for SUP surfing in Hawaii, snowboarding has always been my passion outside of my work (kayaking). In 2005 I began to manufacture snowboards again in my new company, Soul Stick.
