The Athletes Behind the Legends Line
Scot Schmidt is widely considered the father of modern extreme skiing. His first descents in the 1980s and 90s helped define big-mountain skiing as a discipline. Jonny Moseley won Olympic gold in moguls at Nagano in 1998 and became one of the most recognized names in freestyle skiing. Both athletes tested and provided design input on their signature BAÏST gloves.
The Legends Line uses the same modular system as the standard BAÏST line — waterproof goat leather shell, ballistic Cordura, and full liner interchangeability. The difference is in the details: signature colorways, athlete-preferred fit adjustments, and the credibility of gear designed with two of skiing’s most iconic names.
