The gloves are very well-made with an outer leather shell with a Beast liner as standard. Other liners can be used and if they are Baist, they are anchored with Velcro at the base. My granddaughter has very sensitive hands and they keep her hands very ause warm. In fact, because of the leather shell the hands can become a little sweaty. If that happens, you can either ignore it, or, take them off for a little while, Air them out and put them on again. I would buy these gloves again in a heartbeat.
Great gloves! After searching for a very long time, I’m super stoked on the Scot Schmidt model. Still breaking them in, but all good so far. Can’t wait til their set up like an old baseball glove.
Just had a chance to put the gloves thru all kinds of conditions a week ago a whitefish Mountain. They performed great and kept me warm and dry the entire week.
I had ordered a small size in error and the folks at Baist were great to work with and exchanged it for a larger size in a timely matter. Gloves are unlike anything you purchase at the box stores, they are extremely comfortable, great quality and equally important WARM! I highly recommend them to all outdoor enthusiast!
These gloves are amazing. So warm and comfortable. Remove the insulation liner and spring skiing here we GO!
A great pair of gloves. Wrist straps aren’t bulky. Lense cleaning cloth is a nice feature. Sturdy leather that is stiff at first, but breaks in over time.
I purchased these gloves after experiencing some single digit cold days (plus wind chill) this winter and my hands just got too cold to be outside for too long. I got these just in time for my trip to Vermont, and although the days I skied never dipped into the single digits, I still felt that these gloves provided great warmth for my hands in 20-25degree weather. I’m not used to wearing mittens, but I still feel like there was great flexibility in them and I didn’t have any issues holding my poles. I am very pleased with my purchase.
I got the trigger gloves. First ordered the 90 (L) and they were a bit small. The exchange for the 100 was easy and efficient. Love the gloves.
Been ice fishing with these gloves many times. The fit was perfect and the dexterity with the gloves is good. At -35C the gloves performed well. Highly recommend them.
I’ve been using the standard liners for a few years. They were ok, but my finger tips would still get cold. The beast liners are a lot warmer!
This is by far the best pair of gloves I have ever had in my life. Would recommend them to anyone who doesn't want frozen fingers.
Great fit, looked fantastic and kept my hands warm even in the most frigid Colorado skiing and snow boarding conditions. Additionally, the liners were exceptional for running and hiking.
The materials and stitching are of very high quality, the fit is true to size. Gloves are warm yet very dextrose. My last pair have lasted me 4 years and still use as a back up. Worth the price.
Durable, comfortable and reasonably warm. I use a silk or merino liner in temps below 20F and switch out to a warmer glove when temps don't get above around 12-15F, but this glove works great for ~15F-40F. As with any quality goat leather glove, they will take a couple of days to really break in, but once they do they are fantastically comfortable and usable.
Love the liners with mittens and they let me use my phone with the special material on the finger tip.
Haven’t worn this mitten much, but I can can already appreciate the durability and craftsmanship. Very happy with product
Great glove for patroling/skiing but I prefer the Everyday glove when assigned to transportation/snowmobile.
Very satisfied with my purchase. Skied a mid teen powder day and the were plenty warm and stayed dry. Being a leather glove they need a little breaking in. I would buy again.
