Made to upgrade your Mitts to endure even the absolute coldest of temperatures.

When you put these into your Mitt System they will take the temperature rating from -31°F to 5°F (-35°C to -15°C).

Tested and approved on Everest.

Includes:

Super Beast Liner: BAÏST hybrid performance blend of Thinsulate and Thermolite removable velcro liner. Our blend is the warmest and most breathable liner you have experienced.

This liner is not typically used on its own. It attaches to the exterior shell of the mitt using velcro and is your main insulator. Remove the regular liner before inserting this into your Mitt.

Warmer!

My men’s Baist mitts are a superior product. The liners that came with the mitts seemed to be losing some loft after 2 ski seasons. I decided to try the -40 liners. They seem to have a thicker fabric and are warmer. Good upgrade for me. Probably be good into the low single digits with me wearing them with a light liner. Overall the mitts are showing NO wear after 2 seasons of 40+ days of skiing.

Good Choice

I have been searching for a replacement to my old 1990s OR modular mitt for years. Found these! Wore them with wool liner glove in mitten shell at 0 degrees. First time I have been able to do this without handwarmers. Don't know about -40 F but worked at 0.

Perfect fit for my shells; only time will tell, ski season is less then a month away.

Close, but not quite

Super happy at every other temperature I've used it at, but not down to the -40F/-29C it's rated for. Riding my e-bike at -20C and 25km/h it's been a bit of a let down. Perhaps I need to get the 2nd skin liner or adjust my expectations.

Otherwise super happy with the overall quality of the shell/mitt system
