So far so good

I am a big Snowmobiler I chased snow all winter. I got these last week and I’m very excited to try them out. They are very nicely made soft leather and I can’t stress enough about how nicely they are made my last pair of leather mittens. I bought in 1975 and just retired them, I am 64 And these will get handed to my son

I had two major issues with the gloves

1. The area between the four finger and the thumb did not allow for proper insertion of your hand. The area was sewn in such a way that it would not allow comfort for that intersection of the two fingers. All that had to be done was too shorten that area by .25”-.5”, and the hand would have been much more comfortable. These gloves appear to be quite similar to Hestra, and Hestra achieves this.

2. The heavier glove insert is simply too bulky and strangles the hand, thus giving it little room to move. It was extremely uncomfortable, as such. Perhaps it would be good for mountain climbing, or something where a lot of movement of the hand was not required. But as for skiing, it was entirely unacceptable and uncomfortable.

Overall, I felt the look of the glove was quite attractive, but the function was quite poor.
