Aleks Klassen

As a 19 year-old raised in Revelstoke BC, Aleks has grabbed every opportunity that gets thrown at him to ski the world’s best snow. It started out skipping elementary school to train with his ski racing team, and quickly progressed to skipping highschool to venture into the backcountry to guide, snowmobile, or ski cool lines with friends. Growing up with internationally-recognized guides as parents means Aleks has been chasing the ‘dream’ of becoming a ski guide as well. Working closely with Avalanche Canada, Aleks promotes backcountry safety, training, and tools through social media, with a youth-oriented audience. Safety is always #1 with Aleks and his friends in the backcountry, which allows him to have as much fun as possible at all times.
