Shayna Friedman

I’ve spent my whole life living in Colorado and I can’t think of a better state to grow up in. My parents are both lifelong skiers so teaching me to love sliding on snow was always a priority. When I was two years old, I put on tiny little skis for the first time and have never looked back. Now, I ski on the Loveland Freeride team and compete in Junior IFSA competitions. Skiing and competing with Team Loveland has been one of my favorite experiences. I’ve met lots of really cool people and great friends. Two years ago, I got the opportunity to take a year off from life and live abroad in the desert. While being in the desert was so much fun, missing a ski season only made me fall deeper in love with the sport. I hope to continue to push myself and run around in the mountains with friends and family for many years to come.
